A handsome quality made and reassuringly heavy solid warm dark oak Air Ministry chest of drawers, featuring a beautiful rich patina with two short over three long dovetailed drawers with brass drop bar handles and back plates.
The chest has numerous knocks, dinks, scratches and marks, all adding to the look and character of the piece. Internally the top right drawer has a blue ink stain the rest have minor signs of wear. The top has two dowelled holes on both the left and right edges (see last photos) and an area to the front right which has some warping to the wood. Overall a great looking set of drawers that would add interest to any home.
