An elegant well constructed original Art Deco period figured walnut compactum wardrobe, dating from the 1930s. It features two finely dovetailed drawers and a generously sized double doored cupboard (with working key and lock), raised on a plinth base, offering both style and practical storage solutions. The sleek, linear design is complemented by its original walnut handles adding a subtle touch of sophistication. 

Although in great condition there are some knocks, dinks & marks as to be expected with age and use, we have shown some but not all to give an indication of condition. There is also some crazing to the finish (mainly to the top) due to it's age, that is difficult to show in the photographs as only really noticeable in certain light.  The drawers open and close well and are in good clen condition along with cabinet linings considering the pieces age. The cream phenolic key escutcheon is damaged / has a loss to the left edge. Overall a very handsome tallboy that would add interest to any home.
