A much larger and substantial than usual art deco clam shell ceiling shade, featuring 5 thick etched/frosted opaque glass shell panels with an etched/frosted opaque central bowl with sun ray cut glass that slots into the beautifully detailed chrome frame. An absolute show stopper of a ceiling light. Comes with original chains, a ceiling rose with hooks and original lamp holders if required.
We have another one of these lights listed, with new central panel and chains.
The chrome frame has tarnished over the years and created a wonderful patina. The frosted clams are in good order, with only some minor marks , the glass bowl has some marks. Please note we have shown the shade lit with a bulb and flex for illustration purposes, you can either use the original bulb holders (subject to them being checked by a competent person) or alternatively provide your own bulb holder of choice. All installation and wiring should be carried out by a competent person. Overall will make a great statement piece.
