A superb quality solid warm elm captains chair with a wonderful patina. Stamped VR (Victoria Regina) and GRV with crown (George the fifth, formally resided within an English public building). Waxed ready for use in your home.

There are polished in scratches, marks, knocks as expected with its use and age, there has been a repair to the the left back rest at some point of it's life all adding to the character and look of the piece. Overall a very handsome, solid and comfortable quality chair.
