Vintage Mid Century Ercol Windsor Blonde Elm Model 572 Desk Blue Label #103241

A wonderful Mid Century blonde blue label Windsor model 572 writing desk produced by Ercol for just one year (1969–70), making it a rather rare. Made from solid English elm, it showcases the very best of Ercol’s quality and design. Beautifully proportioned and immensely well made, featuring 2 shallow drawers above pedestals each with 3 drawers, all siting on its original casters.

The desk is in very good original used condition. There are some knocks, scratches and marks as to be expected with age and use. Including a small ink stain to the top and small crack to the left top edge (please see photos). The handle on the middle right pedestal has been repaired - it is not obvious but you might notice if you are looking closely. All drawers are running smoothly, internally they are in really good condition with only minor signs of wear. There is no key for the top drawer locks. Overall a wonderful desk in very good vintage condition, that will add interest to any home of commercial interior.
