A wonderful Art Nouveau ebonised / dark brown bentwood bench. No 92. Circa 1920, featuring a cane seat. There is no maker's mark, but design attributed to Thonet or J&J Kohn.
The bench is stable with no loose joints, with beautiful age related wear, inlcuding numerous knocks, chips, dinks, all adding to the look of the piece. The seat caning is intact and firm with some minor breaks, generally minimal wear and tear for its age. Overall a stand out piece that would add interest to any home
