Set 4 model 18 Thonet Chairs

A lovely set of 4 well agedbentwood and cane dining chairs in the style of the Thonet No. 18 chair designd Gebrüder Thonet around 1875, labelled ZPM Radomsko (a nationalised Thonet Factory) in the 60s.

The chairs have been cleaned and waxed however they show signs of their past use including marks, knocks and areas where the finish has worn over the years giving them their unique character. Some of the bentwood back rests and leg braces have some small splits (quite common on these chairs), please see last photos and their is some slight movement to one chair's inner backrest hoop (this is not structural). The caning is in very good firm condition with only some minor areas of damage to one seat, this is not noticeable unless looking for it. One seats caning is slightly darker than the others. Overall a great set of Thonet style chairs in good aged condition.
