A fabulous quality antique solid Iroko utility Cabinet / Pigeonhole manufactured by the renowned Wake and Dean office and educational furniture manufacturers, believed to have originally been used in a Post Office, c1932.  Featuring double panel doors opening to reveal an interior with enamel numbered pigeonholes (left side) and a mixture of enamel & plastic numbered adjustable shelves (right side), all resting on a plinth base.

There are numerous age related marks, scratches and dinks as to be expected with age and use, these have all been polished in over the years adding to the look of the cabinet. There are 13 adjustable shelfs, of which there are original shelf holders for 8.  All shelves apart from 6 have enamel numbers the others are plastic. Some of the enamel are damaged with the numbers worn and the number 23 is missing from the pigeonhole side. There has been sympathetic historic repairs to the door frame where the hinges are fixed in a couple of areas. A great flexible storage option, which would look fantastic in any home or business interior. .
