Beautifully formed glazed gilt brass lantern with wonderful natural verdigris. c1900s with a beautiful depth of patina only achieved by decades of oxidisation to the brass.  Wonderful scrolled design to edges with acanthus leaves foliage decoration to the gallery. Glazed on all sides with original glas

In good well aged condition with only a light clean to retain it's patina. The hook and chain are later additions. There are some minor repairs (newer welding spots) to the brass. There are no electrical parts to the lantern, it has been converted at some point to be used with a flex hanging down into it. Overall a beautiful lantern that would look great in a lobby or passageway. Please note it will require a ceiling rose comes with just the pictured chain.
